CLOUDS OF HOPE

As I sit by the window on this fateful day,
I gaze at the clouds stretching
far across the sky,
How do they hold so much?
Don't they ever yearn to burst out and cry?

To give away all the pain and let go the sorrow,
to remove the source of misery out of their way,
Their very existence comes into question,
Or is it abundance as they say.

Abundance, yes, abundance of droplets of hope
The very cause of their existence, and,
The very cause of their sorrow
Kicked around by the winds, for love their is no scope.

But they've had too much,
e pain inflicted upon them has made them morose,
The burden of watering the fields.
When love-dry they are, the wound is such.

Despite the lack of conviction, together they still stand,
In the hope of a better tomorrow.
May every cloud have a silver lining,
Drawn not by fate, but by their own hand.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING

you are in my thought and in my soul
with you i've accomplished my every goal
thank you for always being there
i know,
we are all you care.

simple living and high thinking,
moving on without drifting,
working as if there was no tomorrow
you've left us all in sorrow.

but as we mourn today,
we know you're there, here and everyday,
the mantra to succeed in every test,
DO YOUR BEST AND LEAVE THE REST.
